I have a vivid memory of Penny bring a gaggle of little girls, Gemma and Martha and Esther, down to London, on the train, to meet me, on a trip to visit Lyme Regis and Paris with Dick, and somewhere there is a photo of all of us on the top of a double-decker London bus!!
Prior by a few years to that is another small slice of life, this time in Gate Helmsley outside York, when Penny was extremely pregnant, and her nephew Joel, under school age at the time, told her 'Don't do that baby in our house'!!
These memories always make me smile and smile again...

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
